Details Galaxy Buds 2 specifications shared ahead of launch
The tipster shared a rather detailed spec sheet of these earbuds on Twitter, along with some images (shown below). We’ve seen a bunch of images of these earbuds already, so this is nothing new. Even the unboxing video appeared, actually. When it comes to specs, the Galaxy Buds 2 will have a lot to offer, it seems. These earbuds will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.2. A 61mAh battery will be included in each earbud, while the case will feature a 472 battery. Every single model of these earbuds will feature both a glossy case, and glossy earbuds. Ambient Sound will be included, and the same goes for active noise cancellation (ANC). Each earbud will feature three microphones, which will certainly help a lot with noise cancellation. Now, some of you are probably wondering about battery life, well, that information has also been shared.
The battery life won’t be bad at all, quite the contrary
According to the tipster, the Buds 2 will offer 18 hours of listening time with ANC on (5 per earbud + 13 with the case accounted for). If you disable ANC, you’ll be able to get 28 hours of listening time (8 per earbud + 20 with the case included in the calculation). The charging / carrying case will support Qi charging aka wireless charging. Each earbud will feature two speakers, an 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter. On top of everything, these earbuds will also be IPX7 rated, so you’ll freely be able to use them during workouts, etc. The Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds are tipped to cost €159 in Europe, and they will launch on August 11, as already mentioned. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4, and Watch 4 Classic will also make an appearance during that press event.
